La Cour fédérale irakienne donne raison à Maliki après sa plainte contre le président
La Cour fédérale irakienne a confirmé que la coalition de Nouri al-Maliki était la plus importante du Parlement, donnant ainsi raison à ce dernier, qui avait porté plainte contre le président, l'accusant de ne pas nommer de Premier ministre issu du plus puissant groupe parlementaire.
 
« La Cour fédérale annonce qu'elle confirme que l'État de droit est le bloc le plus important du Parlement », a indiqué la télévision officielle. Selon la Constitution, le président irakien doit désigner un Premier ministre issu de la première force du Parlement, ce qui ouvrirait de fait la voie à un troisième mandat de M. Maliki.
