Ce film a été réalisé en collaboration avec plusieurs réfugiés rwandais, des experts américains et des membres de l'ONU. Sur le site internet consacré au film, on peut lire que l'ONU prononcera, en accord avec les pays hôtes, la clause de cessation du statut de réfugié. Ceci aura pour effet d'ôter le statut de réfugié et de rendre apatrides les personnes qui ont demandé l'asile entre 1959 et 1998, si ces derniers ne retournent pas au Rwanda.
